Help With Christmas Due to Husband Passing away!

i am a single mom with 2 kids trying to make a living but i only make min. wage i hate to ask buti need some help to make my sons x mas a little bit brighter my boys are all i have i do the best i can but sometimes need a little help.any help at all would be greatly appreciated.my sons are 8 and16 yrs old my oldest undrstands what i am going through but my youngest just doesnt understand how hard it is to be an only parent. any help at all would be a blessing thank you lisa harris

Hi Single mom, I'm also a single mom and I know how it is to need some help during the Holidays. There are MANY places that can help you - some go by how much money you make (if this happens, bring proof of ALL of your bills). Then there are some that will help you because you are asking for it. Do you attend church at all? Some of them offer to help. The Salvation Army? You could also go to your local Family Independance Agency and ask if they can send you in the right direction. There are many organizations that offer help every year - local police stations, the military, churches, and so forth. I hope that I am able to help you even a little bit. Also, search the net for organizations in your local area and your telephone book too. All the best to you. :D
